Baby Seats have expiration date?

Baby car seats have an expiration date? Uhuu, yep they do! 🙋‍♀️

You must be wondering if manufacturers are just trying to sell more car seats right? Because it does really sounds strange “Car seats expire”.

However there is actually a very good reason for car seat expiration dates:

1️⃣. The car seats materials they age

2️⃣. They wear and tear during usage

3️⃣. Changing regulations and standards

4️⃣. Manufacturer testing has its limits

5️⃣. Recalls

Generally, car seats expire between 6 and 10 years after the date of manufacture. A lot can happen in 6 to 10 years …

So when reaching the expiration date, It’s recommended that you replace your car seat ones it expires.
