What to expect from the treats when you are expecting?Congratulations mama on your little bundle of joy! Our treats are safe to be taken during your pregnancy. However, your milk production is not triggered until your placenta is delivered after the birth of your baby. Most mamas make plenty of milk and it’s best to wait until after you give birth to see how your body responds. If you would like to boost your milk supply after giving birth, we have wonderful lactation treats!

Am I allowed to consume one of each treat?That is absolutely allowed mama! We do recommend 2 treats each day to bring the milk your way.

When do Milky Makers treats expire?All our treats are made fresh in our kitchen in Dubai and dispatched to you fresh out the oven. You will find the expiration date of your treats on the original packaging. Make sure to store in a cool, dry and dark place. If you wish to store treats longer, you can store them in your freezer for up to 6 months. When you take them out of the freezer, we suggest placing your treats in the refrigerator for a few hours, then moving it to the counter top to reach room temperature for best results.

What is the best way to store my treats once the package has been opened?We recommend mamas to store the treats in a cool, dark and dry place. Chocolates absorbs other flavors, so be sure to store it away from other strong odors. Some mamas like to keep their treats in the refrigerator, which is perfectly fine. We suggest to store it in a tupperware box, cookie box or sealed plastic bag, to ensure it does not become tainted by strong flavors from other foods in your fridge. Or keep them for 6 months in the freezer!

Milky Makers to the rescue! How long does it take to notice a difference in my milk supply?Most mamas notice an increase in milk supply within a few hours, with others it may take a few days, while some do not notice a difference.

Is it guaranteed that your treats increase my milk supply?Every woman’s body is unique, with each having different reactions to treats. Result may vary, one treat may work wonders for one mama while another does not yield the same result. You may want to engage in a little trial-and-error exercise to find the right treats for your body. If you believe to experience continued supply issues, please reach out to one of our international board certified lactation consultants (IBCLC) to determine the root cause. Remember that lactation treats do not replace the expert advice of an IBCLC.

How do I cancel my order?How unfortunate that you want to cancel your order mama! All orders can be cancelled up to 2 days before they are due to leave our bakery. Please contact us at contact@milkymakers.com to request a cancellation. Please include ‘Order cancellation’ in the subject header, and include an order number, full name and reason for the cancellation in the main body of your email.

What’s our return & refund policy?Milky Makers does not accept returns and grant refunds on any treats unless the reason is an error on our part and has not upheld the high standards that we adhere to, such as a manufacturing blooper, or a packaging or handling failure. Please contact us at contact@milkymakers.comif this is the case. We are not responsible for delays caused by one of our shipping partners due weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping information or mistakes on the part of our shipping partners - employees. Therefore, we are not able to offer refunds for those reasons. However, if you believe that our shipping partners has mishandled your treat, please let us know mama. We will file a claim with our partner on your behalf.

Do you use Fenugreek in your treats?Our treats do not contain fenugreek. Recent research shows that Fenugreek can have amazing health benefits, but can also cause some side effects. Such side effects may include: nausea, indigestion or stomach upsets, body odor, loss of appetite, stomach contractions, lower glucose levels. Mamas’ safety is Milky Makers priority. We decided to use an alternative.

I have a severe allergy. How do I know if I can consume your treats?Milky Makers is aware of the seriousness of allergens and takes great care in making sure its treats are safe, wholesome and properly labeled. When placing your order online at www.milkymakers.com please make sure you mention your allergy in the comment section. We will make sure to pay attention to this matter mama and will revert back if your allergy is a concern when consuming our treats.

How soon after I make purchase will you ship my order?We aim to deliver all treats within 3 to 5 business days in the UAE and you should expect 7 to 10 business days for international shipments.
